Managing Users

Any user with administration permission can manage the users of a MediaPlanHQ account.

 

Listing users

Here are the steps to view the users in your account:

Step 1: Log in as a user with Administration permission.

Step 2: Go to "Administration > Users".

This will bring you to a page that lists all the users

 

 

Creating a user

Here are the steps to create a new user in your account:

Step 1: From the user list, click the "Create user" button

This will bring you the "Create user" form.

 

Step 2: Enter the mandatory user information.

It is recommended to check the "Force password change at next login" when creating a new user with a manually entered temporary password.

 

Step 3: Click the "Save" button.

 

 

Modifying a user

Here are the steps to modify an existing user in your account:

Step 1: From the user list, click the "Update" icon (a.k.a pencil icon) next to the appropriate user.

This will bring you the "Modify user" form.

 

 

Step 2: Modify the user information.

Note that you should leave the password and confirm password empty when modifying a user to keep the current password.

Step 3: Click the "Save" button.

 

Deleting a user

Here are the steps to delete an existing user in your account:

Step 1: From the user list, click the "Delete" icon (a.k.a red "x" icon) next to the appropriate user.

This will bring you the "Delete user" form.

 

Step 2: Click the "Yes" button.
