We are pleased to announce this new release of MediaPlanHQ.

Here are the features: 

Planning enhancements

Feature #1: Integrated Views

The planning module now provides an integrated way to visualize the same data using different views.  

The view navigation bar allows to change views quickly while keeping the same filters and search criteria.

Currently, the planning module offers 5 views:

  1. List view
  2. Details view
  3. Calendar view
  4. Blocking chart view
  5. Analysis view

Our goal with those views is to provide more specialized user interfaces for different tasks.  For example, the list view is ideal for a quick overview and to do bulk operations and the blocking chart view is ideal to visualize and communicate your media bookings for the entire fiscal year.

 

Feature #2: Details View

Historically, if you wanted to see all the information related to a media insertion, you'd have to either display all the columns in the list or launch the media insertion edit form.  

Now, the planning module offers a new details view that displays all the information you need for the different planning tasks that requires a deep dive into the media insertion data:

In a single view, you see all the following information:

  1. The right panel lists the media insertions with an overview of the dates, media, format, status, and cost.  Clicking on a media insertion will load its details in the left panel.
  2. The media plan and campaign of the current media insertion.
  3. The name, status, and last modified audit information of the current media insertion.
  4. Quick overview information about the current media insertion including the cost, P.O. #, and assignments for each supported roles.
  5. The actions for the current media insertion including generating an insertion order PDF, status change, assignment change and typical edit, copy and delete.
  6. The media information including the type, the name, and the address when available.
  7. The markets information including their names and address when available.
  8. The dates of the current media insertion.
  9. The format and specification of the current media insertion.
  10. The files of the current media insertion.
  11. A few tabs that displays more information with a simple click:
    1. Cost details and cost split
    2. Booking information including the booking email and procedure
    3. Delivery information including the delivery date and procedure
    4. Comments
    5. Change history

 

Production enhancements

Feature #3: Integrated Views

The production module now also provides an integrated way to visualize the same data using different views.

The view navigation bar allows to change views quickly while keeping the same filters and search criteria.

Currently, the planning module offers 5 views:

  1. List view
  2. Details view
  3. Workload view

 

Feature #4: Details View

As in the planning module, if you wanted to see all the information related to a creative project, you'd have to either display all the columns in the list or launch the creative project edit form.  

Now, the production module offers a new details view that displays all the information you need for the different production tasks that requires a deep dive into the creative project data:

 

In a single view, you see all the following information:

  1. The right panel lists the creative projects with an overview of the dates, media, format, and status.  Clicking on a creative project will load its details in the left panel.
  2. The media plan,  campaign, and job number of the current creative project.
  3. The name, status, and last modified audit information of the current creative project.
  4. Quick overview information about the current creative project including the effort evaluation, priority, and assignments for each supported roles.
  5. The actions for the current media insertion including sending the assignment email, status change, assignment change and typical edit, copy and delete.
  6. The media information including the type, the name, and the address when available.
  7. The markets information including their names and address when available.
  8. The dates including the production, delivery and start dates of the current creative project.
  9. The format and specification of the current creative project.
  10. The files of the current creative project.
  11. A few tabs that displays more information with a simple click:
    1. Delivery information including the delivery date and procedure
    2. Corrections
    3. Comments
    4. Time logs
    5. Change history
