Configure request pre-approvals

A request may need to be pre-approved before going to marketing department for processing.

For example, all requests for a given "Store" must be approved by the "Store director",  or all requests for a given "Department" must be approved by the "Department head".

This is a gate-keeper step that allows the "Pre-approver" to validate the eligibility of the request.  It also avoid spamming the marketing department with non-eligible requests.


The pre-approval feature is only available when there is a "Pre-approved" or "Pre-rejected" step in your request workflow.  See Configure request workflow for more information.


Follow these steps to configure request pre-approval for a given organization:

Step 1: Go to the "Organizations" module.

Step 2: Click on an "Organization".  This will display the organization details.

Step 3: Click the "Edit" button.  This will display the "Update organization" form.

Step 4: Click the "Save" button.


Now, every time a client submits a request for the "Alberta" organization, the pre-approver "Sarah Smith" will receive an email with instruction on how to validate and approve the request before it is routed to the marketing department for processing.
